The Raider Nation is rejoicing at the departure of Rob Ryan to the Cleveland Browns. There seems to be a belief that his departure alone instantaneously raises the level of the Oakland Raiders defense a few notches, however there is a great deal of work that has to be done player wise and scheme wise to return the defense to respectibility.
